РЕКОМЕНДАТЕЛЬНОЕ ПИСЬМО

Немаловажным документом является и рекомендательное письмо от Вашего предыдущего работодателя, которое Вы потом предоставите на новом месте работы. Чаще всего у руководителей просто не хватает времени, чтобы составить шаблон письма самим, так что приготовьтесь к тому, что составлять письмо придется именно Вам.

 Заручиться рекомендациями можно у преподавателя, руководителя дипломной работы, заведующего кафедрой, декана факультета, начальника на рабочем месте. Если Вы участвовали в проекте, возьмите рекомендательное письмо у руководителей проекта. Так же можно попросить благодарственное письмо у клиента, для которого вы делали проект. Примеры рекомендаций широко используются, например, на профессиональном ресурсе www.linkedin.com, показывая ценность человека как профессионала и его репутацию на рынке.
 Важно помнить, что в деловой практике не принято просить рекомендации у коллег или сотрудников, равными Вам по служебной иерархии. Единственное исключение – это упомянутый LinkedIn, где рекомендации носят более неформальный характер.

 Бумажная версия письма-рекомендации должна состоять из:
 - заголовка
 - описания, как долго и в каком качестве Вас знает рекомендователь
 - подтверждения факта работы/учебы/стажировки
 - краткая характеристика, описание сильных сторон
 - контактные координаты: фамилия-имя, должность, телефон, электронный адрес
 Излишне говорить, что бумажная рекомендация должна быть на бланке компании, заверена печатью и подписью.

She has successfully developed several marketing plans for our company that have resulted in increased revenue. During her tenure, we saw an increase in profits that exceeded one million dollars. The new revenue was a direct result of the plans implemented by Cathy.

 Though she was an asset to our marketing efforts, Cathy was also extraordinarily helpful in other areas of the company. In addition to writing effective training modules for sales representatives, Cathy assumed a leadership role in sales meetings, inspiring and motivating other employees.

 The academics at Eastern Little Hope are most challenging, and Kaya fulfilled all the requirements with the added challenge of honors and advanced courses. One of the requirements in my advanced class is to prepare lectures and guidance for the beginners. With Kaya’ s superior knowledge and involvement in the political sciences, she developed a strong sense of confidence with a charming attitude. Therefore, I could always depend on her to set the best example as an instructor. Because of her natural leadership abilities, Kaya was selected as our Debate Captain. On account of her mature approach to her responsibilities, I often thought of Kaya as a colleague.

 Since her classmates, my fellow teachers, and I will always hold her in the highest esteem, I sincerely recommend Kaya Stone as the ideal candidate for matriculation at Eastern Little Hope State.
